LAST DAY TO REGISTER IN ANY MANNER OTHER THAN IN-PERSON WITH LOCAL CLERK (168.497) -15 days before election

Monday, July 20, 2026 - Deadline to register by mail or online and be eligible to vote in the August Election.

Tuesday, July 21 - Tuesday, August 4 - Registration must be done in person with local clerk with proof of residency.

The Clerk's office will be open on Saturday, August 1 from 7 am - 3 pm for voter registration.

Registration Deadlines and Absentee Voting

Voter Registration Deadline BY MAIL

15 days prior to any election

**Eligible citizens may register to vote at any time up to and including 8 pm on Election Day.

Mailed Absentee Ballot Deadline

In order to mail a ballot to you, we must receive your written request by 5:00 pm the Friday before the election.

In-Person Absentee Voting Deadline

Because of State Law, no absentee ballots can be issued after 4:00 pm the Monday before the election.

All voted ballots must be received by 8:00 pm on election day in order to be counted.

State Law allows the early tabulation of absentee ballots beginning 8 days before Election Day.
