Public Hearing and Comment Period on Housing and Community Development Program Performance and Future Needs
The City of Grand Rapids is accepting public comments on housing and community development program performance and community needs to help inform future planning, including the FFY 2027 Annual Action Plan. A public hearing will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at City Hall, and written comments will be accepted through September 23, 2026.
FFY 2026 Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program - Public Notice & Comment Period
The City of Grand Rapids (City) and Kent County invite public comment on a joint application for $198,363 in FFY 2026 Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) program funds. The JAG program, administered by the U.S. Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA), provides funding to support a range of activities including law enforcement, crime prevention and education, and technology improvement.
