Odd/Even and One-Side Seasonal Parking

Seasonal Parking Restrictions begin November 1 and end April 1

We all play an important role when it comes to snow maintenance! Seasonal parking restrictions help Public Works keep streets clear and safe during the fall and winter months. They allow crews to sweep streets, plow snow, and prevent winter flooding caused by clogged catch basins. These restrictions also ensure that emergency vehicles can reach neighborhoods during heavy snow.

Streets designated with seasonal parking signs will have the on-street parking restrictions in effect from:

  • 12:01 AM on November 1 of each year until 11:59 PM on April 1 of the following year.

Odd Dates (1:00 AM–6:00 PM)

  • Park on the side of the street with odd-numbered addresses.
  • Parking is not allowed on the even-numbered side.

Evening & Overnight (6:00 PM–1:00 AM)

  • You may park on either side of the street.
  • Be sure to move your vehicle to match the next day’s odd/even date by 1:00 AM.

Even Dates (1:00 AM–6:00 PM)

  • Park on the side of the street with even-numbered addresses.
  • Parking is not allowed on the odd-numbered side.

  • Parking is prohibited at all times on the posted side of the street.

Residents can request City staff to review their street to see if adding or changing Seasonal Parking Restrictions is appropriate. To review the criteria used to determine if seasonal parking restrictions are needed, visit click the link below:
