Police Exploreres is a police career education program. We give young adults a chance to learn about policing. We also prepare them to become responsible, caring citizens. Throughout the program, explorers learn from our police officers. They build positive relationships with officers and gain valuable insight into policing.
We meet every other Wednesday at the police department. The meeting starts at 6pm and ends at 9pm. Below is a sample schedule of the program:

The application takes about 20 minutes if you're prepared. There are some things you should know before you start the application.
We have an online application for the Police Explorers program.
The first two meetings are to prepare you for the Police Explorers. This isn't the final step in the process. Not everyone invited to the first two meetings is accepted into the program.
