Before we get started
A couple of notes on GR PayIt:
- Security. Rest assured that your payment information is encrypted when it's submitted and securely stored by a third party. These practices are PCI DSS compliant
- Goodbye processing fees. There are no processing fees when making payments for most City services. A processing fee is assessed when paying property tax bills
Gather your information
Make sure to have your invoice number, customer number, license ID, or email address. You’ll will need one of these items to search for your invoice in GR PayIt.
Most of this information is printed on the invoice; however, a physical copy of the bill may not be necessary.
Decide your payment option
You can pay online with credit/debit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express) or eCheck. There are also options to mail your payment or pay in person at City Hall.
Make your payment
Login to GR PayIt and use your existing account. If you are new to GR PayIt, you can create an account or pay as a guest. You'll be asked to look up your invoice and begin the process of paying it.
Payment timeline
When you make a payment through GR PayIt, the payment goes through the following business day by noon. If you make a payment on a holiday, it'll be posted the following business day.
