Vote Early
Proposal 2 of 2022 gave the voters the constitutional right to cast a ballot early. The proposal states that there must be at least 9 days of early voting and at least 8 hours for each of those days. The early voting period begins two Saturdays before the election and continues daily until the Sunday before.
Early voting allows a voter to cast a ballot before Election Day, in an experience similar to voting on Election Day.
During the early voting period, voters are issued a ballot and can then insert their ballot directly into a tabulator at our early voting site.
Voters will have the opportunity to vote and put their own ballot in a tabulator at any of the Voting Sites the dates and times below.
Early Voting Sites
A Grand Rapids registered voter may go to any of the early location sites:
- St. Peter and Paul School - 1430 Quarry NW
- GRPS University - 1400 Fuller NE
- Ottawa Hills High School - 2055 Rosewood SE
- DeVos Place
Early Voting Dates and Times
Saturdays, Sundays, Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, Thursday - 11:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
