Apply to Appeal Housing Violations

Do you want to appeal the housing violations you’ve received? You’re in the right place. You can ask for more time to complete repairs, a waiver from the City Code, or new interpretations of City Code. You can also state that you have already fulfilled the necessary repairs.

Online Form

Step 1.Create a Citizen Access account

We use a third party application called Citizen Access to receive housing appeal applications.

You can submit a complaint anonymously without logging in, or create an account and log in first to make it easier for you to track the status of the complaint over time. If you've never used Citizen Access, we recommend that you review how to create an account before starting.

Step 2.Check your eligibility

You have to submit your appeal before the Last Appeal Date listed in the upper right corner of the Notice of Violation.

You’re eligible to appeal for:

You can appeal Nuisance fees. You can't appeal violation fees.
