Mondays, May 23 through August 29 (no class May 30 or July 4)

Yoga at Mulick Park (1632 Sylvan Ave. SE) from 6 to 6:45 p.m.

Discover your inner yogi in a class that builds strength and body awareness. Begin with gentle stretching and move to flowing through and holding poses. Class will come to a restful end. Go to the Facebook event.


SoulfulMOTION at Garfield Park (2111 Madison Ave. SE) from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

SoulfulMotion is an exciting class of fitness and inspiration. This is a high intensity interval training (HIIT) class set to Christian and inspirational music. Designed for anyone regardless of age or fitness level. Go to the Facebook event.


Zumba at Rosa Parks Circle (135 Monroe Center St. NW) from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

Zumba is a high energy, dance fitness class that incorporates Latin and international music. All fitness levels are welcome. Go to the Facebook event.

Tuesdays, May 24 through August 30
 

Groove on The Blue Bridge from 6 to 6:45 p.m.

Sweat away stress and dance some joy into your heart while following simple steps and easy toning moves. Groove is perfect for anyone who wants to add some fun into their current workout routine. Go to the Facebook event.


Kickboxing at 555 Monroe Ave. NW from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m.

Mix up your routine with balance, coordination and strength-building moves. Strengthen your legs, upper body, abs and burn calories. Go to the Facebook event.

30 Minute HIIT at Lookout Park (801 Fairview Ave. NE) from 6:15 to 6:45 p.m.

30 minutes is all you need to get a full workout in! This class uses high intensity interval training (HIIT) to increase your heart rate, strengthen your muscles, and boost your metabolism. Participants will be given 30 seconds to do as many reps of a single body weight exercise as possible. Then rinse, repeat, with a new move! Exercises will have modified options as well as progressions, allowing each person to decide their own intensity. All fitness levels welcome! Go to the Facebook event.

Sunset Yoga at Lookout Park (801 Fairview Ave. NE) from 7 to 7:45 p.m.

Wednesdays, May 25 through August 31

Sunrise Yoga at Indian Trails Golf Course (2776 Kalamazoo Ave. SE) from 6:30 to 7:15 a.m.

Barre on The Blue Bridge from 6 to 6:45 p.m.

Barre is a low impact, high intensity total body workout that incorporates elements of Pilates, Ballet and Yoga. See full description above in previous section. Go to the Facebook event.

WERQ on the Richmond Park Pool Deck (1101 Richmond St. NW) from 7:15 to 8 p.m.

WERQ is a nonstop cardio dance class with fun and unique routines set to the hottest pop and hip hop music. Participants will get a high calorie burn, and a non stop workout, combining repetitive athletic moves with fresh dance steps. Anyone can WERQ it! Bring your own water bottle and towel. Thursdays, May 26 through September 1

POUND on The Blue Bridge from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.

Slow Flow Yoga at Lookout Park (801 Fairview Ave. NE) from 7 to 7:45 p.m.

Dedicate time to stretch, strengthen, and recharge your body with an hour of slow flow Yoga. Slow flow Yoga is known for its relaxing, calming and healing effect. Class will be slower paced with thoughtfully chosen postures which are held for multiple breaths. This is the perfect compliment to all other workouts and outdoor activities. All levels welcome. Kids Yoga at Pleasant Park (620 Madison Ave. SE) from 10 to 10:45 a.m.

Children will use the theme of the week to develop their own postures and yoga flow- Encouraging creativity, confidence, and fun. This class will be geared towards ages 2-10 years old. Go the Facebook event.
