City Comptroller Reports and Resources

The Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) is a set of financial statements. These reports follow accounting requirements made by the Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB).

This Resident’s Guide is produced using information from the City’s ACFR and is designed to be accessible for the general public and readers without a background in public finance or accounting. To ensure the residents of Grand Rapids are fully informed about their government’s operations, the City is pleased to provide you with this annual report. Small claims are generally claims valued at less than $15,000. These are the Small Claims paid by the City of Grand Rapids.
