Bluebeam CheckPrint Review

Welcome to the Engineering Department's CheckPrint Plan Review page. This page provides resources and guidance to engineers, design consultants, and stakeholder reviewers for check print review in the Bluebeam platform. If you have any questions, you can reach us using the information under the contact section.

"Checkprints" or a "check set" are project design drawings and documents produced at 90% design completion for review by City departments, utilities, and other stakeholders for review and comment prior to project plans being finalized. For MDOT projects, this review takes place at the Grade Inspection stage of the project. For Private Development projects involving utilities and work in the right-of-way, this review occurs after an initial Preliminary Utility Plan review.

A Bluebeam profile is a customized setup that includes toolbars, markups, and settings tailored for specific workflows. This profile is designed to help you efficiently review City of Grand Rapids check print plans using standardized tools and comments.
