About the Board

We're passionate about mobility in Grand Rapids. We make sure that all types of mobility are included in the City's vision. Think cars, bikes, public transit, pedestrians -- all the ways you can move around GR.

Here are some ways we go after our goals:

  • Guide on and off street parking systems
  • Guide the DASH service
  • Give input on and plans for biking and walking initiatives
  • Review transportation demand management (TDM) plans
  • Incorporate mobility options
  • Support new mobility services
  • Monitor and market mobility info
  • Lead outreach to employers and help find mobility solutions
  • Market programs to assist special events
  • Use private advertising and other methods to let the public know about parking and transit availability and benefits
  • Make sure access to transportation options is equitable
