Our budget focuses on advancing our new strategic plan, which prioritizes economic prosperity and affordability, mobility, safe community, health and environment, governmental excellence, and engaged and connected community. Fiscal Year 2020 starts July 1, 2019. The finalized budget will be available this summer.
Hosting a community event in Grand Rapids? You can request a fire truck at your event.
Fire trucks are only available for events that take place in Grand Rapids. If your event is outside of the city, you'll need to contact the local fire department to see if they offer this service.
We need at least one week's notice to make it to your event. Make sure to plan in advance.
We can make it to events held Monday, Tuesday and Thursday thru Saturday at these times:
*We will consider events on Sunday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights, but we do not guarantee availability.
We'll bring a truck to these types of events:
