Before you call us, make sure eligible

You can't be eligible for water turn on until you resolve the reasons why your water was cut off.
Here are some the common reason we turn off water:

Non-Payment

We turn off water when their are outstanding balances on accounts. To access your water account and add funds to your account, click here

High Usage

We turn off water when it's determines that you're using more water than usual. It was determine necessary to cut off your water supply.

water leak

We turn off water when there's a major water leak issue at your property. The water was turned off to prevent further damages.

Water Meter repairs

We turn off water if our service worker's are unable to get a reading of your water meter when using their touchpad device. This means you need to get your water meter repaired.

To get your water turned back on or find out why it was cut off, you’ll need to call one of our GR311 Customer Service agents. Call 311 or 616-456-3000. You can call us Monday- Friday from 8 AM-5 PM. Keep in mind that we're closed on weekends and holidays.

To get your water turned back on or find out why it was cut off, you’ll need to speak to one of our GR311 Customer Service agents. Visit our customer service storefront at 300 Monroe Ave NW. We are located on the "M" level of City Hall. Our GR311 Customer Service agents will help you with turning your water back on. We're open Monday-Friday form 8 AM - 5 PM. Keep in mind that we're closed on weekends and holidays.
