Report a Complaint About an Unused or Inoperable Vehicle

Do you have a complaint about an unused or inoperable vehicle on private property? You can only report vehicles that have been inoperable for more than 7 days. You're in the right place to report this vehicle.

Online Form

Identify your complaint

We know it's important to prevent the dangers of inoperable and unused vehicles. Determine whether your complaint is eligible as an inoperable or unused vehicle.

If an inoperable vehicle has been on private property for more than 7 days, you can report your complaint.

We only allow one unused vehicle per property, which needs to be at the back of the property. If more than one has been on private property for more than 7 days, you can report your complaint.

Keep in mind

Together, you and your neighbors form a strong community. Working together to resolve an issue can create a stronger block and neighborhood. We’ve put together optional first steps before filing a complaint with us.

  • Try talking with the property owner. If you need help finding the owner of a property, contact the City Assessors' Office online or at (616) 456-3081
