Report a Complaint About Active Construction

Do you have a complaint about ongoing construction on private property? Is work being done without a permit? You can report a suspected building, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or soil erosion violation taking place at an active construction site.

Online Form

Create a Citizen Access account

We use a third party application called Citizen Access to receive complaints about active construction. You can submit a complaint anonymously without logging in, or create an account and log in first to make it easier for you to track the status of the complaint over time. If you've never used Citizen Access, we recommend that you review how to create an account before starting.

Make sure you have time to complete the form

This form will take about 5 minutes to complete. You'll be able to save your entry and resume later if you need more time.

Keep in mind

If your complaint is about a residential builder or maintenance and alteration contractor it must be filed within 18 months of completion of the work, occupancy or purchase whichever occurs later.

A complaint may be filed about any other licensed party at any time.
