Dispute a Parking Ticket

Do you feel like your were issued a parking ticket in error? You can dispute a parking ticket here.  Tickets must be disputed within 30 days of issuance.

Step 1.Before you get started

Make sure you have everything you need to fill out the form

  • Your parking ticket number
  • Your driver's license number

Step 2.Let us know if you lost your parking ticket

Give us a call using the number in the Contact Us section of this page. We'll email, fax, or mail you a copy of the ticket.

Step 3.Fill out the form

Submit your dispute using our online form.

Step 4.Wait for a letter from the court

After you submit your form the court is responsible for hearing your case. You'll get a letter from the court to let you know when your informal hearing is scheduled.

Send the completed form using the Contact Us section. You can drop off your form to our office on the second floor of City Hall, or you can put it in the drop box in front of City Hall just south of Michigan street.

Step 5.Wait for a letter from the court

Step 2.Come to the 2nd floor of City Hall and fill out the form

You'll find us on the second floor in the Treasurer's office. We'll get you a copy of the form and make sure it's complete before you leave.

Step 3.Let us know if you lost your parking ticket

We'll make sure you get a copy of the ticket.
