Need to move an oversize load through the City of Grand Rapids?  You can get approval for your move by applying for your permit here.

Step 2.Make sure you have a State of Michigan permit

You'll need a State of Michigan oversize permit if your route includes state-owned roads. Visit the Michigan Department of Transportation, or call them at 517-241-8999 to get your permit.

You or your trucking company might get a ticket if you move the oversize load without the permit on hand.
