Do you want to hang a banner on a city-owned light pole? We allow organizations to hang banners on light poles to promote events. You can apply for the permit here.
Make sure to start the process early. We recommend checking availability at least a month before you want to hang your banner. We also recommend that you use a sign or printing contractor. This process can be difficult to do on your own.

Decide which light pole you want to hang your banner(s) on. You can check on the map here.
To check availability, give us a call at the number listed in the Contact Us section. Expect a call back from the City within three business days.
It's a good idea to review the Banner Specifications. After you choose an available light pole, your contractor will check the size of your banner to see if you need extra hardware.
