NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT
ON THE DRAFT FFY 2026 – 2030
CONSOLIDATED HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN
Comments are invited on the draft FFY 2026 – 2030 Consolidated Housing and Community Development (HCD) Plan. The HCD Plan is a five-year planning document outlining strategies, goals, and objectives for housing and community development activities funded from the following U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG). These programs are designed to provide decent housing, a suitable living environment, and economic opportunities principally for low- and moderate-income persons and neighborhoods. The HCD Plan also guides the investment of the Justice Assistance Grant (JAG), Opioid Settlement Funds (OSF), and other funds administered by the Community Development Department.
Public Comment and Public Hearing. The draft HCD Plan will be available for public review and comment from October 28, 2025 through November 26, 2025 and may be viewed here. A public hearing on the draft HCD Plan will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at GRPS University at 1400 Fuller Avenue NE. The public hearing will begin at 7:00 p.m. or soon thereafter.
