Step 1.Choose a parking permit type and location 

We offer monthly parking permits for many customer needs. Review your options:

Standard Permit

Keep in mind: The Sixth Street Park lot, Napa lot, Ionia Mason lot, Canal Park lot, State Street and the Ionia Ave Parking are reserved for permit holders from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Check out the Standard Monthly Parking Map and Availability.

Evening Permit

  • Any day of the week
  • 4:30 pm to 8:00 am
  • $50 per month

Keep in mind: Evening monthly permits have 24 hour access on Saturday and Sunday. Check out the Evening Monthly Parking Map and Availability.

Neighborhood Commuter Lot Permit

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
  • $35 per month

Keep in mind: These are currently available in Barth Neighborhood Lot (412 Barth Ave SE View Map), Eastown Hampton Lot (354 Hampton Ave SE View Map), Ethel Lot (420 Ethel Ave SE View Map), Henry Charles Lot (412 Henry Ave SE View Map).

 Downtown Residential Permit

  • Any day of the week
  • 24 hours per day
  • $200 per month

Keep in mind: This is only offered at the Pearl Ionia Parking Ramp and you have to prove residency within the downtown area. Check this downtown resident map to see if your address qualifies.

Step 2.Complete the online form 

Request an available parking permit and/or placement on the waiting list.

Step 3.We'll review your request for an available parking permit

Expect to hear from us within 1-2 business days if you requested an available parking permit. We'll help you to complete the parking agreement and retrieve your permit.

Step 4.We'll add you to the waiting list

We'll contact you as soon as we have an available parking permit for you if you requested one. Our system for tracking the waiting list doesn't support reporting or auto updates. So you won't hear from us for some time. Depending on when a permit becomes available, we'll contact you in four (4) to sixteen (16) months.

You can find our address in the Contact Us section of this page. We're open from 7:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday. We can answer your questions. If you requested an available parking permit, we'll help you to complete the parking agreement and retrieve your permit.
