Step 1.Please Call If This is an Emergency

Emergencies include any situations that put people's safety at risk. For example, a car hit a street light or a street light pole is leaning and in danger of falling.

If this is a red, yellow, or green traffic signal problem, call us right away -- this is an emergency. You'll find our number in the Contact Us section of this page. If you're calling after 5:00 pm, we still want to know right away. Listen to the prompts. When you hear "for utility emergencies," press 2. Then wait until you hear "traffic/lights, signs, and signals," and press 2 again.

Step 2.Make Sure the Issue is Eligible

Use this service to report streetlight issues only. We call the overhead lamps that light up your block at night streetlights. These are different from red, yellow, and green traffic signal lights. We consider any traffic signal outages an emergency. Call us right away if you find a traffic signal outage.

Step 3.Take Note of the Streetlight Location

We'll ask you for the streetlight location. It helps to have an address close to the streetlight.

Step 4.Download the GRCity 311 Mobile App or Report Online
