Commission Night Out in the Second Ward

You're invited to the final City Commission Night Out of 2024!

Come out on Tuesday, October 22 to GRPS University at 1400 Fuller Ave. NE for a night of engagement and connection with City departments and other City officials. This is the last of three Commission Night Out (CNO) meetings in 2024, so be sure not to miss it!

Schedule

• Doors open at 5 p.m.
• Engagement period begins at 5:30 p.m.
• Information tables open at 5:30 p.m.
• City Commission meeting begins at 7 p.m.

During the 5:30 p.m. engagement session, City officials will detail results of the National Community Survey and will look to gain additional feedback from community members about what those Grand Rapids findings mean to them. For those interested in interacting with additional departments, resource tables will be set up at the Commission Night Out event. Staff from 311/Customer Service, Water, Public Works, Human Resources, GRFD/Office of Emergency Management, and GRPD for selected services.

The 7 p.m. City Commission meeting will air on Comcast Channel 26 and be live streamed on the City of Grand Rapids Facebook page and YouTube channel.
