MoTown Square LLC and LINC UP are proposing a new four-story, assisted living building at 240 Hall Street SE. This 51,136 sq ft building would include 24-hour staff on site and 54 one-bedroom, affordable units, 27 units will be project based Section 8. Half the units will rent at 60% of the area median income for a 1 bedroom. A 30-space parking lot will be located behind the building. Additionally, the development will reroute the alley between Cass Avenue and Lafayette Avenue to exit onto Lafayette Avenue rather than Hall Street. The developer is seeking Planning Commission approval for this project.
