The Michigan St and Fuller Ave intersection is open!
Fuller Ave from Michigan St to the railroad tracks remains closed until the end of next week.
Access to I-196 from Fuller Avenue will be maintained from the north. Pedestrian access will be maintained. Access to businesses will be maintained.
In early June, the City of Grand Rapids closed Fuller Ave north of Michigan to complete an urgent sanitary sewer repair. After further review, it was determined more work was needed to fix the issue.
This full closure will allow contractors to complete the work as quickly as possible.
