Request Trash/Recycling Cart Size Swaps

1. Before you call 

Keep in mind that this service is for swapping cart size, and not for requesting additional carts. Want to request additional carts? Give us a call at 311 or 616-456-3000.

2. Choose your new cart size

Here are our available waste cart sizes:

• 32 gallon cart*- good for small size family household. $3.63 per use
• 64 gallon cart - ideal for a medium size family. $6.05 per use
• 96 gallon cart - works for a large family that may not recycle $8.47 per use 

*This cart size option is only available for trash carts.

3. Prepare to pay possible fees

You are eligible for one free recycle cart size swap and one free refuse cart size swap. If you request additional cart swaps the $28.50 fee will be debited from your PAYT account. Make sure to check your PAYT account balance before requesting the cart swap, your request will not be processed until the fee has been debited from your account.

4. Locate the cart number of your current cart

This number is located on the front of your cart underneath your lid.
