Identify the number and size of water taps (new or replacement) being installed.
Estimate the number of inspections required to complete the work in each of these categories (the City will add inspections/fees beyond this amount if needed to complete the work):
For mailed applications, we accept check or money order. If you pay in person, we accept cash, check or money order, and Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.
Permit fees vary, based on the tap type and number of inspections required.

We accept Water-Sewer Tap and Inspection Permit applications by mail or in person from contractors. We don't accept emailed or faxed applications.
You'll find our address in the Contact Us section of this page.
You can download and print the application beforehand if you want. Otherwise, we'll get you a copy when you come in.
Expect to hear from us within 1-2 business days. We'll email you to confirm receipt of your application. Keep in mind that you might need to revise your application or attachments if we notice any missing or incorrect information.
