If you have a State of Michigan license and want to apply for permits in Grand Rapids, you’ll need to register it with the City.

After you complete the registraion or renewal, we will review your application. Expect your updated registration card by mail within 2 weeks of receipt of your application. Keep in mind that you might need to revise your application or attachment if we notice any missing or incorrect information.
