City Manager

Mark Washington

The City Manager is appointed by the Mayor and City Commissioners. You can think of this position as the City's Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The City Manager directs the processes that run Grand Rapids.

City Clerk

Joel Hondorp

The City Clerk is the official for local elections and City Commission legislation. This position manages City Commission agendas and meeting minutes.

City Treasurer

John Globensky

The City Treasurer manages the City's funds. This position manages the Treasurer's Office. This Office ensures that taxes and fees are accurately billed and collected.

Interim City Attorney

Phil Strom

The City Attorney is the attorney who represents the City of Grand Rapids. This appointed position is also the executive manager of the City Attorney's Office.
