Draft FY 2027 Annual Action Plan
Neighborhood Investment Plan Funding Recommendations
The City of Grand Rapids Community Development Department invites public comment on the draft FY 2027 Consolidated Housing and Community Development Annual Action Plan that outlines recommended funding to support the City’s Neighborhood Investment Plan outcomes.
Public Comment and Public Hearing. The draft Annual Action Plan will be available for public review and comment from March 31, 2026 through April 29, 2026. A public hearing for citizen input will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall, 300 Monroe Avenue NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
Comments may be made during the public hearing or submitted in writing to the Community Development Department through April 29, 2026. The draft Annual Action Plan and Neighborhood Investment Plan funding recommendations may be viewed here. Programmatic Agreements between the Michigan State Historic Preservation Officer and the City of Grand Rapids
A public hearing will be held to receive comment on the effect of activities funded through certain federal programs on the character of properties included in or eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places. The City of Grand Rapids has two agreements with the Michigan State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) that outline stipulations to be adhered to for the City to comply with its responsibilities under Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act for certain programs and activities funded by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The Programmatic Agreements are available for public review here. The hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at City Hall, 300 Monroe Avenue NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49503.
