This application is for the interior remodel or repair of a single-family home or duplex. For multi-family, commercial or industrial projects please apply for a commercial renovation permit.
- Do you need permit? - If your remodel project includes adding, moving, or opening walls you will probably need this permit. Just doing cosmetic changes, then you don't need this permit. If you are unsure, give us a call and we can help!
- Who can apply - This application is open to the property/homeowner or a licensed contractor.
- Prepare you plans - Remodel permits require a full set of plans for review and inspection. The plans should show how your remodel fits into the whole structure, includeing any floor above or below. Make sure they are well dimentioned.
- Fees - Fees are based on the estimated value of your project. Use our fee estimator to determine how much your permit will cost. Your permit comes with 1 of each inspection needed (e.g. rough-in, final). Additional inspection will add to the cost.
