About the Board

We review the City's stormwater system. We also make recommendations for improvement to the City government. Here's a look at our duties:

  • Reviews the current state of the City's stormwater system
  • Reports on stormwater
  • Look over expenditures and makes recommendations to the City Manager and Commission

There are 9 members of the Stormwater Oversight Commission who are all appointed by the City Commission for a term beginning the first Monday in January.

Residency Requirement

There are no residency requirements to sit on the board.

Term Limits

Each member's term is 3 years. There is no term limit, so you can serve an unlimited number of terms.

Compensation

There is no compensation for members on this board.
