About the Board
We're passionate about mobility in Grand Rapids. We make sure that all types of mobility are included in the City's vision. Think cars, bikes, public transit, pedestrians -- all the ways you can move around GR.
Here are some ways we go after our goals:
- Guide on and off-street parking systems
- Guide the DASH service
- Give input on and plans for biking and walking initiatives
- Review transportation demand management (TDM) plans
- Incorporate mobility options
- Support new mobility services
- Monitor and market mobility info
- Lead outreach to employers and help find mobility solutions
- Market programs to assist special events
- Use private advertising and other methods to let the public know about parking and transit availability and benefits
- Make sure access to transportation options is equitable
