Rosa Parks Ice Rink

Welcome to the Heart of Downtown Grand Rapids

Experience winter magic at Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink, one of Grand Rapids' most iconic seasonal attractions. Located in the heart of downtown, the ice rink offers a festive outdoor escape for skaters of all ages and skill levels.

The rink is fully staffed, family-friendly, and perfect for daytime breaks, date nights, and creating new winter traditions. Reservations and walk-ups are welcome and admission includes skate rentals.

Whether you're stepping onto the ice for the first time or perfecting your spins, Rosa Parks Circle Ice Rink provides an unforgettable Grand Rapids winter experience.

Ice Skating Session Times

Rosa Parks Ice Rink is an outdoor ice surface, which makes irregularities and defects more common on the ice surface. The rink closes briefly between skate sessions to allow for resurfacing to give users the best experience possible.

Skating is offered in 90-minute sessions. Drop-in skaters are welcome during all sessions. Reservations are available and can only be made for those in your immediate household. We recommend reserving your session for high-demand sessions around holidays and weekends.

Interested in bringing your school or other large group to the rink? Contact us at iceskating@grand-rapids.mi.us to inquire.
