Vital Streets Oversight Commission

The Vital Streets Oversight Commission helps the City decide how to spend money on our roads and transportation infrastructure. Here are a couple of our key responsibilities:

  • Oversee and guide the public investments into streets, infrastructure, and transportation system
  • Create specific plans for a system of street types that reflect local needs and network functions

Current Members

There are 13 members of the Vital Streets Oversight Commission who are all appointed by the City Commission for a term beginning the first Monday in January.
