Residents who have downed limbs and branches are being asked to place them in the right-of-way in front of their home so City crews can pick them up over the next few days. Debris should not block the street or sidewalk or be in the way of refuse and recycling collections. Storm debris does not need to be tagged or bagged for removal. To report debris in the right-of-way, call our 311 Customer Service at 616.456.3000 during normal business hours 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tree debris doesn't need to be tagged or bagged for removal

City crews and those helping from the State of Michigan are in neighborhoods now working to pick up branches and storm debris throughout out the city. The teams will be working from dawn to dusk over the next seven days to remove branches and limbs from private and City trees in the right-of-way.
