Report a Missed Trash Pickup

Did your trash cart get missed on your collection day? Here are a few tips to find out why. 

Online

Step 1.Make sure you're eligible for pick-up

Ask yourself the below 5 questions. There may be a reason why your trash wasn't picked up. Follow the instructions after each question to find why your trash wasn't picked up:

  • Have you checked your balance to make sure you have sufficient funds for pick up?  Check this by phone or online here
  • Did you have your trash out on your correct collection date? If you're unsure of your collection date, you can look it up here.
  • Was your cart put out before 7 AM on your collection day? We require this for pick-up.
  • Was there a tag left on your cart alerting you of a potential issue? The driver may have left a tag for many possible reasons.
    • Cart not at the curb
    • Cart blocked or inaccessible (too close to other items such as a phone pole, mail box, other cart)
    • Open bags or loose items in the cart
    • Unpaid account balance
    • Service not active
    • Don't see a tag? Give us a call. 
  • Are you trying to put in a request for missed pick-up before 3 PM? Hold tight. We may still have crews out there working on collections. If your trash is still hasn't been collected after 3 PM, give us a call.

Step 2.Still unsure of why your cart wasn't emptied?

Give us a call. All misses need to be reported within 1 business day. We can only go back and retrieve within this timeframe. If you're trying to request a pick-up after this timeframe, you will have to wait until your next one.
