City Manager Search

The City Commission has appointed Mark Washington as Grand Rapids’ next City Manager. The decision followed a six-month process led by Springsted Waters, an executive recruitment firm. The process included public interviews with each of the five city manager candidates, a community forum and opportunities for City staff, business and civic leaders and other stakeholders to get to know the candidates and provide feedback.
