What We Do

Mobile GR operates city-owned parking systems and works to provide safe, reliable, affordable, and diverse transportation options to support the City's economic and quality of life goals.

Social justice, economic development, and transportation depend on one another's success. We work together to improve the community's quality of life by getting more people to use active transportation. Mobile GR helps expand people's mobility choices by making it easier to take transit, walk, bike, carpool, or drive alone.

Say hello to convenient street parking with Motu! You no longer have to plan or dig for coins. Just look for signs with the Motu logo, park, and pay right from your mobile phone. Motu has replaced ParkMobile as the official mobile app for street parking in Grand Rapids.

Shared Mobility

Our scooter share pilot launched September 30, 2020 to residents and visitors in Grand Rapids. Starting in greater downtown, the pilot will cover a 12-mile area. Options will include electric standing and seated scooters and e-bicycles. Find out more about the effort on our Shared Mobility page:
