About the Board

We work to guide the development of the Uptown Corridor Improvement District (CID). Here's a look at how we work toward our goals:

  • Propose developmental plans for the economic growth of the Uptown Corridor
  • Study the impact of metropolitan growth in the area

Apply for Boards and Commissions

  • 9 members
  • Members are appointed by the Mayor with the advice and approval of the City Commission on December 31. 
  • Mayor can designate a representative in her place. 
  • Majority of members must have ownership or business interest in property located in development area 

Residency Requirement

At least one member must reside within the development area of the Uptown Corridor.

Term Limit 

Your term on this board is for 4 years. There is no term limit, so you can serve an unlimited number of terms

Compensation

There is no compensation for members on this board.
