Starting Monday, Feb. 18, weather permitting, crews will pick up all remaining tree debris in the right-of-way during the City’s refuse and recycling collections. The curbside pickup will end after collections on Friday, Feb. 22. Monday’s Presidents Day holiday does not impact the refuse and recycling services.
The Domtar yard waste drop-off site is open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day – including Presidents Day – through Saturday, Feb. 23. The site is located at 2001 Butterworth Ave SW.

To get your business license, make sure you don't owe money to the City. We're unable to issue you a business license if you don't meet these requirements.
We'll need to know a few things about your company before we issue a license. Here's a look at what we need from you:
A bike mechanic must inspect each of your vehicles before we'll issue a license. Download and print the form below and take it to a bike mechanic. We'll ask you to upload a scanned copy of the completed form with your application.

Pedicab License Ordinance
There is a $268 license application fee for new applications. The fee for renewal applications is $122. Your first vehicle is included under your company license. Any additional vehicles are $25. Application fees are non-refundable.
There's no extra processing fee to pay with a card online. We accept Visa and MasterCard payments online.

It takes us 5-10 business days to process applications. Keep in mind that it may take longer to process your application if we find that you need to make changes.
We'll call or email you to let you know that your license and vehicle decals are ready. You can either pick them up from the office or we'll mail it to you. Your license is valid through the season.
We use a standard licensing year of July 1 through June 30 for all businesses. Your license will expire on June 30 regardless of when you apply. The fees are also the same no matter when you apply during the year.
